The 11th China Korea Song Festival will be held on October 6th at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center Grand Theater. Olympic Sailing Center will be sealed off on the day of the China Korea Song Festival

In order to guarantee that the entire China Korea Song Festival will go smoothly, Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center will be sealed off on October 5th, the China Korea Song Festival dress rehearsal, and on October 6th, the China Korea Song Festival performance. It will be sealed off from noon, 12:00, to evening, 22:00. While it is sealed off, only audience who have tickets to the 11th China Korea Song Festival can enter starting at 16:30 on the days of the dress rehearsal and performance from Olympic Sailing Center gate number 2 (Xinhui road entrance). All categories of vehicles holding work certificates can enter from Olympic Sailing Center gate number 3 (Zengcheng road entrance)

It’s understood that around the Olympic Sailing Center there are three parking lots. They are Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center gate number 1 parking lot (Qingyuan road), Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center gate number 6 parking lot (Aomen road), the parking lot near the intersection of Donghai road and Fuzhou road (about a 10 minute walk away from Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center). Jewelry’s Park Jung Ah has revealed how her boyfriend Gill first stole her heart.

On KBS 2TV Sang Sang Plus, Park Jung Ah appeared as a guest and was asked questions based on how her relationship with Gill first bloomed. To this, she replied, “We had a get-together after the filming of Kko Kko Single.”

Will DBSK Attend 2009’s Dream Concert?

Many are wondering whether TVXQ, the group swept with disbandment rumors after their dispute with their agency erupted, is planning on attending the ‘2009 Dream Concert’ that is set for October 10th.

TVXQ has already signed a contract with Yeonjae Corporation, who is in charge of the concert, stating that they will be attending. However, as their dispute with their entertainment agency continues to build, their attendance is becoming uncertain.

On the 8th, Yeonjae Corporation announced 15 teams, excluding TVXQ, who would be attending the concert. Through an official statement Yeonjae Corporation said, “15 representative teams who have swept the 2009 Kpop industry will be attending such as Big Bang, 2PM, Super Junior, Jewelry, Girls’ Generation, MC Mong, SHINee, 4 Minute etc.”

However, Yeonjae Corporation did not forget about the chance that TVXQ may be added to the list later on. The corporation said, “On April, we drew up a attendance contract with SM Entertainment and confirmed TVXQ’s attendance,” and “The fans’ anticipation of the ‘Dream Concert’ is big. Also, for the expansion of the Korean music industry and the Hallyu Wave, it is important that the members of TVXQ and SM Entertainment settle the issue on a good note. Fans have not been able to see all five members on one stage in Korea since the dispute erupted on July 31st between SM Entertainment and three members of TVXQ. With the ‘SM Town Live 09′ Concert, that was supposed to happen on August 16th, indefinitely postponed, fans have been waiting eagerly for a chance to see all five members on one stage again.

There is a chance that TVXQ will appear at the ‘Dream Concert’ to reply to the voices of the fans who want to see their performances. One representative of Yeonjae Corporation said, “We cannot say for certain, but Yeonjae Corporation is trying its hardest to get TVXQ on stage at the ‘Dream Concert’ so the only thing we can do is hope for the best.“

The Dream Concert is hitting its 15th year and is expected to attract around 5,000 international fans from countries such as Japan, Thailand and China. The concert will take place at 6:30 pm on October 10th at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Tickets go on sale at 8 pm on the 10th this month and can be purchased by typing ‘DreamConcert’ in the Gmarket search engine.

No DBSK & 2PM at Dream Concert 09?

Up to 15 artists includingDBSK, 2PM, Big Bang, SNSD, MC Mong, Jewelry, Super, Junior, SHINee and 2NE1 were said to be performing at this year’s Dream Concert in Korea. But after recent events, DBSK and 2PM have said that they are unsure whether or not they will be performing.

As you all may already know, DBSK’s Micky YooChun, Xiah Junsu, and Youngwoong Jaejoong are having some problems with their record label, SM Entertainment, regarding their salaries. A representative for DBSK has said, “We know that the expectations for Dream Concert 2009 were huge for the DBSK fans. However, resolving this case with SM amicably is our first priority, for the sake of the future expansion of the Korean music industry.” and “We all hope that the boys will quickly reclaim their titles as the kings of K-Pop.”

2PM, as you all know, is not faring well at the moment neither, with the resignation of their ex-leader Jaebeom. Jaebeom has already left for Seattle and was reported saying that he’d return after he studies music in the States. And with the need of a new leader for 2PM, JYPE has stated that all of 2PM’s future activities have been canceled as of now and that nothing is certain for the boys as of yet.

Dream Concert will still take place as planned, although the lineup for this year is a bit unclear. Dream Concert 2009 will take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on October 10th from 6:00PM.

Girlgroup 4Minute breaks the ‘GDragon symdrome’ by take him off the #1 on illegal music download chart for the 1st week of September.

MusicSave (musicsave.co.kr), in charge of monitoring illegal music sites, revealed that 4Minute’s ‘Muzik’ has take up about 20.6% of illegal music file downloads for the week.

This is the 2nd time that 4Minute is #1 on illegal music download chart after coming back with their 1st minialbum. There was some setbacks for the group with their 1st minialbum – first the album was leaked out on 28th August before the official release date, and then the song ‘Won’t Give You’ was ruled inappropriate for broadcast. But the album is doing very well as a whole, moving up fast on various music charts.

And GDragon has rule the chart for illegal music download for 2 weeks with his solo debut song ‘Heartbreaker’.

Besides that, group Jewelry is also doing up strong on the chart with the song ‘Strong Girl’ off their 6th comeback album ‘Sophiscated’ released 1 year snd 6 months after their previous album. They are also making a hit with their ‘ Salrang Salrang dance’.

SNSD & Rain Will Come Together

Top Korean stars such as Rain, So Nyeo Shi Dae and Super Junior will get together this month for the Incheon Korean Music Wave Festival as performing guests.

The 2009 edition of the Incheon Korean Music Wave Festival had originally set to be held in August; but however because of the passing of former President Kim Dae-joong, it was pushed back to the fifth of September instead.

So Nyeo Shi Dae members Tiffany and Jessica, along with famed MC Oh Sang-jin will host the festival for this year.

The Incheon Korean Music Wave Festival is held by the state of Incheon as part of its festivities for “Visit Incheon 2009”, and mega stars such as Rain and SNSD will be part of this massive celebration.

MBC will broadcast the whole event belatedly on the 12th of September.
