Must Watch The Idol Chuseok Special!

Nine top idol groups will appear on an SBS-TV special on Chuseok, which falls on Oct. 3.

The program, titled “Idol Big Show,” will feature G-dragon of Big Bang, Girls’ Generation, 2NE1, Kara, SHINee, Lee Seung-gi, 4Minute, After School and 2AM.

The stars will present joint performances.

The six members of After School will sing Pussycat Dolls’ hit song “Buttons” and perform what producers have described as a “very sexy dance.”

Girls’ Generation will sing their debut song “Into the New World.” Also, the nine members will be turned “cute bunny girls” and present their hit song of this year “Gee.”

The “Idol Big Show” will be on air at 11:10 p.m. on Oct. 3.

UEE Shows Some Love For Her Group

After School UEE has shown her love for each of the After School member.

UEE uploaded the members’ photos on her Cyworld minihompy on 27th September, and left a message title ‘I love you’.

Her first message to JungAh, “Jjung unnieㅋㅋㅋ Our beloved unnie! I know that unnie is tired but I would always ask for help, I’m always sorry unnie. But still unnie knows I love her very much right? Always like the mother all members, our JungAh unnie! I’ll always miss you and also really really love you.”

To GaHee, “Our leader GaHee unnie! Tough unnie who will always encourage and tell me to have strength when I’m having a hard time! I’m always thankful! I cannot be without unnie, you know right? I love you.”

To JooYeon, “My roommate Jjoo unnie! Pretty Jjoo unnie who will always quarrel with me but is always the one whom will make around with me the most! I’m really happy to have met unnie! The one who is the most strong willed of all strong willed who will say with the tough voice “What’s wrong” when things get tough! My F.T Island Activities are Not Suspended

Playing the role of A.N.JELL’s Jeremy in the upcoming SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful“, singer-talent Lee Hongki expressed that, “FT Island’s activities are not suspended.”

With many girl groups in the Kpop industry right now, FT Island’s 3rd album title song “Barae” still managed to maintain top chart positions, displaying their level of popularity. Currently, Lee Hongki is also busy with filming of the drama “You’re Beautiful” and his role is that of a British-Korean, who is well-brought up in a royal family.

Spokesperson of FT Island revealed that, “Many fans asked whether FT Island’s activities will come to a halt due to the filming of “You’re Beautiful“. With this, we would like to inform that the members are planning for a year end concert tour in Korea.”

Lee Hongki was previously casted in dramas “Magic Kid Masuri“, “There’s Light Left At The Tip Of My Fingernails“, “Kkangsooni” and many others. With these experience, he does not seem awkward at the filming locations even after 5 years. Instead, he becomes the atmosphere creator in the crew.

Cast of “You’re Beautiful” inculdes Jang Geunsuk, Park Shinhye, Lee Hongki, Jung Yonghwa, Uee and others. With flowerboy idols as the main focus, the drama is receiving lots of attention.

Hyo Min Has The Honey Thighs

MBC are really hyping up their Idol Group Survival: Sweet Girl Chuseok Special after revealing another interesting fact from the recently concluded recording.

Having already revealed what the Wonder Girls was going to say in their pre-recorded video message, it was revealed today that T-ara’s Hyomin has been chosen from among the 27 members of the 6 participating girl groups to have the prettiest legs.

It was however unfortunate that ‘Honey Thighs’ UEE of After School and SNSD’s Tiffany wasn’t able to attend the recording because of their busy schedules. But as expected, Hyomin showed off her outstanding beautifully shaped legs and received many positive comments and praises from the other girl group members.

Jun Jin & UEE Kiss

The MV featuring the 2 ‘인사(人事)-만남(緣), 그남자 그여자의 사정’ (His and Her Situation) has been released on GomTV on 28th September.

‘His and Her Situation’ is a project album and there are no plans for broadcast activities. But with the MV, the song style follows that of the ‘Golden Age – Cutie – Natural’ concept.

And the highlight to the show has to be the kiss scene between JunJin and UEE.

After School UEE, KARA Han SeungYeon, Brown Eyed Girls GaIn and 4Minute HyunA will come together as one girlgroup performing on stage.

There has been some rumours going around netizens about the ace members from various girlgroups coming together as one special project.

A netizen has uploaded photos of UEE, Han SeungYeon, GaIn, HyunA at an undisclosed place in Seoul for a photoshoot online recently and the rumour started from there. Especially since the members are the core members from their own groups, it has attracted more attention from the netizens.

With that a corresponding staff revealed on 28th September, “There are plans for UEE, Han SeungYeon, GaIn and HyunA to come together as a project group promoting this October.”
With only the members to this project group revealed, netizens are curious for more information like MV filming and album releases.

You Want To Eat Rice Cakes With Moon Geun Young & MC Mong

Actress Moon Geun Yeong and singer MC Mong have been voted the stars Korean netizens want to make song-pyun (traditional rice cake eaten during Chuseok festival) with.

Specialist education enterprise EduWill did a survey on 1204 netizens from 14th to 25th September on the question, “Which entertainer do you want to knead song-pyun with?” and the results were released on 28th September.

Interesting Episode of Champagne With Girl Groups

The September 26th episode of Champagne was a girl group special with groups like Kara, Brown Eyed Girls, After School, and 4minute.

BEG’s Ga-In revealed that she was a 1987-er and said,”It’s unfair, all my unnies are aged, so it looks like I am old too.”

Narsha, who is a 1983-er said, “I’m not sorry, aging is the same. In fact, sitting here is uncomfortable. I’m a name tag idol,” which caused laughter in the audience.

Ga-In also said, “Because I’m the magnae of the group, I want to really be the leader.” She confessed, “I want to be 4minute’s leader and mess with the dongsaengs.”

On another topic, the girls participated in the ‘Ideal Guy World Cup’ and chose between 16 male idols. The girls first chose between G-Dragon and TOP and chose G-Dragon as their ideal guy. Kara’s Han Seungyeon said, “G-Dragon is really cute and has a charming innocent look when he smiles.” On the other hand, After School’s SoYoung said, “He is a high school hoobae(junior). I’ve seen him since he was in high school and he doesn’t give me the feeling of a man.”

The girls chose again between 2PM’s Jaebum and Nichkhun and and picked Jaebum. From SHINee, it was between Minho and Taemin and Minho was selected. From Super Junior, Siwon and Heechul were the choices, and Siwon was picked by the girls.

DBSK’s U-Know Yunho and ChoiKang Changmin were up, and After school’s Jooyun said, “I am U-Know Yunho’s fan. He has a good body and can dance well.”

From F4’s SS501’s HyunJoong and Lee Minho, they chose Hyunjoong, from Bi(Rain) and Lee SeungGi, they chose Bi(Rain), and from Alex and Boom they chose Alex.

In the quarterfinals, 2PM’s Jaebum, SHINee’s Minho, DBSK’s U-Know Yunho, and Bi(Rain) were left. Bi(Rain) and Jaebum were the top two and Bi(Rain) was chosen as the most ideal guy.

After School Chased By Bikers

It was reported that girl group After School was intimidated and involved in a dangerous situation recently where bikers chased them on the roads.

On 25th September at around 11:00 PM, the group was followed by approximately 20 people (who were on bikes) as they were on their way back to Seoul after finishing an event at Anyang university.

This group of bikers reportedly started following the group from the university and even tried to stop them on the road, through hitting their van and other dangerous acts which might have put the girls in serious danger. The driver for the group said that he did not want to speed up even though they were under attack because he did not want to put the girls at risk of any possible car accident.

The driver for After School’s van eventually slowed down but the attacks continued. But the drama finally ended when one of the 20 bikers got hit by a car from behind (he is reportedly ok) as all of them subsequently left the scene.

A representative of the group stated, “The members are very shocked right now but it’s fortunate that they were not harmed in any way.”

After School will be making a return this October with a new album.
