Taking a rest from the Kpop scene, 4-member group 2NE1 has updated on their recent status.
2NE1 Sandara Park uploaded a photo on their me2day account at noon on 28th September a photo taken together with CL and Park Bom.
Sandara Park wrote, “Good morning!^.^ The apple head sisters and pretty Bbomi! Photographer is MingKki~! Recently we have been practising hard!”
She then added, “And one more thing that we have been doing lately – watching DVD! After our practice, we will go back to the quarters, and 4 of us will sit together and watch movieㅋ We really like romantic comedy. For horror zombie movie, we turned it off but why is the sound still…”
2NE1 member Sandara Park’s solo debut song ‘Kiss’ has went up to #1 on the 2nd week of September on Mnet weekly chart on Mnet.com for its first week on the chart.
The song ‘Kiss’ went up to the #1 spot 4 days after its first reveal, and also the MV to the song which features Boys Over Flowers actor Lee MinHo revealed on 10th September has also gained the song much interests.
With that Kim TaeWoo is at #2 with his comeback song ‘Love Rain’ rising up 20 positions, singer Lee SeungChul’s ‘Love is Difficult’ also rose up 40 positions to be at #8.
On the chart this week, it seems that the solo singers are gaining the influence in Kpop – of the top 10 positions, 5 positions were occupied by solos singers. This is something new from the era of the girlgroups in summer.
GDragon has fallen 2 positions down to #3 with his solo debut song ‘Heartbreaker’ and another solo singer Baek Ji Young is up #7 with ‘My Ear’s Candy’.
And 8eight member Lee Hyun’s solo debut ‘30 minutes ago’ is also doing strong at #10 for its first week on the chart.
2NE1 member Park Bom cries at the last episode of 2NE1TV.
The last episode of 2NE1TV was aired on 9th September. That day, the girls were doing a thank-you video for the production team when the eldest unnie Park Bom and Sandara Park had gone in tears. Their little sisters CL and MinJi had comforted them, but tears just kept running for Park Bom.
And at their last-episode party, the girls have come together with the production team to watch the last episode. And seeing herself crying on TV, Park Bom teared again saying, “I’ll miss it”.
Meanwhile, the girls also posted up thank-you messages to the 2NE1TV production on their me2day page.
They wrote, “They not only prepare our characters but also listens to us when we are going through tough times and are tired. We are very thankful to 2NE1TV”, “Even though it was for a short period of time, because of 2NE1, the vacation was a fun one” etc.
Gong Min Ji also said, “If it wasn’t for 2NE1TV, I wouldn’t have a reason to go to NolRiDongSan. I’m very happy to meet my friends.”
Choi PD of the show said, “It is a shame that we have not get to know all about 2NE1. Very thankful to these friends who have worked hard. Even though they are young, they are very matured.”

After all the teasers in which they have been feeding us with the kisses going on between Lee MinHo and Sandara Park, the teaser to Cass 2X CF/’Kiss’ MV is revealed.
There has been much interests on 2NE1 Sandara Park’s solo debut song ‘Kiss’ amongst netizens.
According to Monkey3(www.monkey3.co.kr), Sandara Park’s ‘Kiss’ went on the chart at #23 on the day of release on th September. And it went up the chart very fast and took the #1 position from GDragon with his solo song ‘Heartbreaker’.
A staff from Monkey3 said, “There has been much interests and quiries about Sandara Park’s solo song even before the song was revealed. And when it was revealed, the responses is overwhelming.”
And netizens also commented on the song, “The song shows Sandara Park’s individuality and charms”, “Every song that 2NE1 release is DaeBak”, “This makes me look forward to the solo songs that Park Bom and CL will release” etc.
Sounds like a big hit already despite it being digitalized. There are rumors that this song could be used for Dara’s Cass 2X beer CF with Lee Minho. We will have to wait and see when the CF is released in the coming days.
Besides being available digitally now, this song will also be included in 2NE1’s new album scheduled for release in October. YG also announced earlier that solo works for Park Bom and CL are currently being prepared, so watch out for that as well.
